Three weeks after winning the 1973 Isle of Man Senior TT, Victorian Jack Findlay claimed third in the Belgian 500cc Grand Prix at Spa behind the MV Agustas of Phil Read and race-winner Giacomo Agostini. Kim Newcombe's Koenig had been running in third but slowed on the last lap, allowing Findlay’s Suzuki TR500 through. Jack is seen here rounding La Source hairpin.
